Morgan and Carson both attended the same high school, but their paths didn't cross back then. Life took them to different places: Morgan went to the University of Texas in Austin, while Carson chose Texas Tech University.

Later on, their lives intersected during a weekend in Norman, Oklahoma. Morgan was visiting her friend Grace Watson for the OU/Texas Tech game, when she ran into Carson and the two of them immediately hit it off. Despite being at different schools, they kept in touch, with Morgan finishing her degree in Austin and Carson continuing his studies at Tech.

The pandemic brought unexpected changes. Morgan returned to Lubbock and began her first year teaching there. Their relationship deepened as they spent more time together, navigating the uncertainties and challenges of the world around them.

They spent the next four years enjoying life together, including traveling to their favorite places like Horseshoe Bay and Crested Butte, going to (almost all) Texas Tech home football games and spending time with their Golden Retriever, Max.

On December 29th, 2023, Carson proposed to Morgan on her birthday at one of their favorite ski spots in Crested Butte. The couple was surrounded and celebrated by family and friends, at a place that means so much to both Carson and Morgan. It was a beautiful moment that marked the beginning of their journey towards forever.

Now, they are excited to celebrate their love and commitment in another memorable place, Horseshoe Bay, Texas on May 3rd, 2025. They can't wait to share this special day with all of you!
