Hector and Morgan met their junior year of high school at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy. Morgan was 16 and Hector was 17. Hector asked Morgan to go on a date to the movies and the rest is history. They made it through college together, both choosing to go to different colleges and have their own experiences. After graduating, they moved across the country to San Diego, CA, where Morgan spent most of her childhood. They recently started their own business, Caña Love, and are enjoying every second of it. They have been through many highs and lows together, and have loved each other through them all. They are looking forward to the many more beautiful memories they will create in this next chapter of their life.

Beautiful hotel on the beach. It is about an hour away from the waterfall where the ceremony will take place. If you want to stay on the beach and don’t mind driving, this is the spot!

Copamarina Beach Resort & Spa

This hotel is about 25 minutes away from the waterfall where the ceremony will take place.

Aloft Ponce Hotel & Casino

This hotel is about 25 minutes away from the waterfall where the ceremony will take place. Could be a good option if you want to be close to the waterfall and also close to the beach.

Hilton Ponce Golf & Casino Resort

Looking for an Airbnb in the Ponce area could be a good option as well. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions for a good location to stay.

Airbnb 

Getting to the waterfall isn’t too crazy, however you will have to drive on a small windy road for the last 5 minutes of the drive. Most of the drive is easy, other than the last 5 minutes is a narrow, residential road, that can feel a little tight. There is little to no traffic on that part of the road, because it is in a neighborhood, so you can drive slow and take in the jungle views. We are considering having a shuttle service or carpool system depending on how many people are interested. Please let us know if you would prefer that, so we can see how we can accommodate you.

Transportation to the ceremony. 

The closest airport to fly into is the Ponce Airport. It is a very small airport with only 2 gates. Jetblue and Frontier fly into this airport. (This would be the easiest option)You can also fly into San Juan, which is about an hour and thirty minutes from the waterfall. Almost all airlines fly into this airport. There is another small airport in Aguadilla, which is about 2 hours from the waterfall but is a great option if you want to explore the West side of the island while you are here. Jetblue, Frontier, and United fly into this airport.

Join us in an unplugged celebration, as there will be no cell phone reception at the waterfall.

Arrival Day!! Feel free to take the day to relax and get settled in. If you would like to come to Rincon with us, we will be snorkeling at Tres Palmas and enjoying a day exploring Rincon.

Friday, November 28

Beach Day!! We are headed to Playa La Jungla! Come enjoy one of our favorite beaches with us! Entry is $2 per person.

Saturday, November 29

Take the day to unwind and do your thing! While Morgan and Hector prepare things at the waterfall, enjoy some downtime before the celebration.

Sunday, November 30

Ceremony starts at 1:11pm. A celebration with food, drinks, dancing, and swimming follows.
