Hunter & Moriah met on November 1st, 2018, at Cheek Jiu Jitsu in Lebanon, MO.
Shortly after, Moriah moved to Germany and the two became fast friends.
Through 6-hour time differences and weird sleep schedules, they kept in touch through texting and calling.
Moriah traveled back to the States to visit Hunter multiple times, whether they were in Missouri or Indiana, there was never a dull moment. At the end of one summer, the two officially started their relationship together.
Moriah's plans for college took her to Florida Southern College, while Hunter was still finishing his bachelor’s at Missouri State University.
Long-distance was difficult, but Hunter made it more bearable by surprising Moriah with many spontaneous visits and long flights to Florida.
Hunter intended on moving to Florida as their relationship grew but at the time, Hunter's mom, Jodi Weaver, was battling cancer. Hunter couldn't be away from home, so Moriah packed up and moved to Missouri.
Moriah grew closer to Hunter and his family and shortly after her 20th birthday, Hunter proposed to her on April 10th,
Hunter had his own place in Springfield, while Moriah lived with Hunter's family in Lebanon. Moriah was going to be starting at a new college in Springfield soon, so they decided it was best to have a courthouse wedding. They were excited to start this next journey in life and move in together.
On June 22nd, 2023, they gathered some close friends and family nearby and went to the courthouse to tie the knot. They set their wedding date exactly one year in the future to June 22nd, 2024.
And on June 22nd of this year, the two would love to have you join them for the celebration of their marriage. There will be a ceremony held at The Barn Stone Valley Plantation in Pleasant Hope, MO. Following the ceremony, there will be a reception. They hope to see you there!
