We recommend booking flights in and out of San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO) or Liberia (LIR) and picking up a rental car through Kayak (5-10/ day) or taking a shuttle! Getting additional insurance coverage is highly suggested; rental cars are easy targets (know this from experience). Message me if you have questions about the shuttle and I can direct you to Adri my travel planner. Please note that La Fortuna is about 2.5 hours from both places, so having a rental/shuttle will be crucial! For those who are nervous about driving, dont worry; the drive is very calming and scenic :)
Also, we’re aiming to arrive May 27th and leave June 2nd, feel free to come early or stay late to make a vacation out of this!
