Q + A

CAN I BRING A GUEST/DATE?

We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation. Your invitation will be made out to "(Your Name) & Guest" If a plus one has been given to you.

ARE KIDS INVITED?

Due to limited numbers, we hope you appreciate that children are only invited if named. Your invitation will be made out to "The (Your Last Name) Family)" if your children have been invited and "Mr. & Mrs." if only you and your significant other have been invited. This is an adult wedding and reception, unless stated there will be no kids!

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Our wedding dress code is formal attire. Weddings are a fun opportunity to dress up and look your best. This includes suits and ties for gentlemen, and cocktail or evening gowns for women. Dresses can be full or knee-length, in a wide spectrum of colors and styles. Ladies please avoid shades of white such as ivory, cream, and true white. We also ask ladies to avoid red. Please also refrain from wearing jeans, cowboy boots, sweats, or hats.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF I DO NOT RSVP ON TIME?

Due to the venue having strict deadlines, if you do not RSVP by March 7th, then you and your party will automatically be considered a "no". If you need an extension for any specific reason, please let us know as soon as possible. We can be reached at the mother of the brides email nesarob@bellsouth.net or 678-687-0193.

IS THIS AN INDOOR OR OUTDOOR WEDDING?

The ceremony will take place outdoors at Toccoa Falls. The reception will take place indoors and outdoors at The Venue at Broken Bridge Farms.

IS THE RECEPTION ELSEWHERE?

The reception will be held at a separate venue located around 9 miles from the ceremony.

IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION?

There is plenty of public parking at both the ceremony and reception. There will also be golf carts available to escort anyone who may need assistance from the parking lot to the waterfall at the ceremony.

IS THERE OPTIONS FOR LODGING?

Please check the "Travel" tab for hotel details.

CAN I USE MY CELLPHONE DURING THE CEREMONY?

This is an unplugged ceremony. We ask that the guests absolutely do not use their phones to take photos, videos, or for personal use while the ceremony is taking place. Guests do not need to worry about holding their phones to take pictures; our professional photographer will handle all of the photography duties. We also ask that you do not post any pictures or videos to social media until the Bride and Groom do.

WHAT IF I AM LATE TO THE CEREMONY?

The ceremony will be starting promptly at 5:00pm. We recommend guests arrive around 4:30-4:45pm to ensure you can find your seat prior to the ceremony starting. If you happen to be late, please do not walk down the aisle and stay towards the back to be out of the view of the photographer.

WILL THERE BE ALCOHOL AND WHAT DO I DO ABOUT DRIVING?

We will be providing alcoholic beverages, however, please DO NOT drink and drive! We recommend using ride share apps such as Lyft or Uber for transportation if you plan on drinking. Otherwise, please know who your designated driver is ahead of time. Please note that there will be no use of alcohol or tobacco obtained outside of the wedding venue, as there is a $250 fine per incident if this occurs.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE CEREMONY?

After the ceremony the bridal party will be taking photos around the waterfall for about an hour, while guests head over to the reception venue and enjoy cocktail hour.
