GETTING TO SEVILLE

VISA: generally US, Canadian and EU citizens do not require visas to Spain as of 12/27/2023. Please check the Spanish website for visa requirement when you plan your travel.

We recommend you arrive to Seville at least on Friday as the wedding ceremony starts at 12:30 PM on Saturday. For those traveling from outside Spain, we recommend you book your flight as soon as you decide that you plan to join us to get the best deal possible on flights.

There are multiple routes to get to Seville, you can choose the one that works best for you based on your plans. Seville has a small airport but is also easily reached via train or car depending on where you are coming from.

Recommended Route (Flight + Train): we found that the fastest route was to fly directly into Madrid, and then take a train to Seville. Iberia is the best for direct flight into Madrid, but TAP Air Portugal usually has better prices with one short layover in Lisbon. For train, we recommend the fast train Renfe AVE which takes approximately 2.5 hours to Seville.

Air Option (Multiple Flights): you can also choose to fly from Madrid to Seville which takes a little bit over an hour. We recommend checking google flights for the best deals.

Air + Driving (Good for Sightseeing): if you decide to drive from Madrid to Seville, the trip is a little over 5 hours, but allows you to stop by other cities if that is part of your plan. Note: most cars are manual gear in Spain, if you prefer automatic, make sure you specify that at the time of your booking. Also, make sure you have an international driving license!

For those traveling from inside EU, you can research flights direct to Seville or through Madrid (similar to the recommended option above). However, driving or train are an options as well.

Generally, use google flights for the best deals at the time of your booking or Trainline for best digital experience to buy and use train tickets.
