Our Wedding

Mya and Joshua’s story began at work—but it didn’t stay there for long. What started as a shared workplace quickly turned into a real partnership, and they jumped into life together headfirst. They moved in together early on, adopted the cutest kitten named Clara (who they adore), and never looked back. In just a few short years, they’ve packed in a lifetime of memories—traveling together, exploring new places, and building a home filled with love, laughter, and the occasional cat zoomies. Through it all, they’ve learned that their favorite place is wherever they’re together. On July 2, 2025, after a romantic dinner in New York City, Joshua planned the perfect surprise. During a stroll through Central Park, he got down on one knee and asked Mya to marry him—and of course, she said yes. Nearly three years after they first got together, they’re so excited to celebrate their love and begin this next chapter as husband and wife.

When should I arrive? - Arrival time starts at 4:00pm and all guests must be seated by 4:45pm. What time does it end? - It ends at 11:00pm Gifts? - The Registry on this website has Zelle and Apple Pay information. We will also have someone on the day of the wedding collecting gifts. What is the itinerary for the wedding? - Please visit the Itinerary page What is the dress code? - Semi-Formal/ Business Casual (dress pants/ slacks, blouses, button-down shirts, skirts, dresses, suit jackets and ties are optional) - No white or cream unless it’s a button up shirt Am I allowed to bring a plus one? - No, not unless you have been previously advised by the bride or groom that you may bring one.
