It was a bustling Tuesday morning of Welcome Week on Ring Road at UC Irvine. Myca was looking for fellow students to sign up for her club at school. That’s when Khai walks by and catches Myca’s eye. With a captivating smile that featured the cutest dimple she had ever seen, Myca couldn’t resist but make her way over to him and invite him to her first club meeting.

Khai had been walking around campus with some friends, getting familiarized with the campus. Suddenly, a girl approached him and started making conversation. He was struck dumbfounded by her encapturing personality and sparkling eyes, he could barely keep eye contact. When Myca invited Khai to come to their club meeting, he knew he couldn’t miss the opportunity to get to know her better.

At the meeting, Myca started off with an icebreaker game called “Human Pretzel.” Contrary to everyone’s belief, this game was not for the purpose of facilitating a more relaxed environment. In fact, her ulterior motive was to hold hands with Khai. She was successful. Khai was clueless about this plan. He had just felt so lucky that he had “by chance” got to hold hands with the prettiest girl there.
