Our Origin Story...

Picture of Our Origin Story...

Our story begins on June 17, 2014 at California State University, Fullerton as Myles was employed by the school as a New Student Orientation Leader and it just so happened that Morgan was part of the incoming freshmen. We have to mention that Myles was told by his coaching staff that he had to work this job because they required a male and female representative from the athletic department and they chose him. It was not something he voluntarily wanted to do and apply for. Despite a few groans, he did so anyways...

Myles... Not really wanting to work this job, decided to have a typical college night out the day before Morgan's orientation and managed to get 3 hours of sleep before the first day of welcoming the new class of athletes and other incoming freshman and parents... As the wave of freshman came strolling into the Titan Student Union; Myles looked over at his colleague, the rep from the women's soccer team, and asked "Wow, who is that?!" and the answer was music to his ears... "Oh, that's Morgan. She's one of our new keepers." His immediate response was, "one day, I swear, me and that girl are going to date..."

Almost three months later; after all the quick interactions during double days, numerous nights of ping pong in the dorm common room, and making sure at least one night of week we separated ourselves from the school and did something not soccer related... Myles asked Morgan to be his girlfriend on September 3rd, 2014.

Through the years, Morgan and Myles have found a shared joy and passion in being in the outdoors with many activities like fishing, hiking, and obviously anything in relation to soccer. She's even taught him how to rig his own line and clean his own fish on his first go around. BUT since relationships are 50/50, Myles does all the catching and Morgan does the cleaning.... It has nothing to do with how gross it is........

Aside from the fishing and hiking, they launched a business together called LAB Football during the pandemic, which is short for Love and Blessings Football. This business is a tool they use to give back to future generations of footballers, who aspire to use the game as a vehicle to experience and learn about life just as they have had the privilege.
