Q + A

What is the best way to RSVP and what is the RSVP deadline?

The best way to RSVP is here! Please RSVP on our website no later than August 5th, 2024. If we do not receive your RSVP by this date, we will assume you are unable to make it and will celebrate with you in spirit! :)

What is this "Welcome Party" listed on the invite?

Great question! We are hosting a welcome party for anyone that is in town early on Friday as a sort of jump into wedding festivities! Please do not feel obligated to attend if your flight is not until later in the day on Friday or you want to use the day to explore Boise! :) This is simply a fun get together for a few hours in the afternoon (noon to 3ish) full of pickleball and corn hole! Pick you partner and come prepared to battle! The address for the Welcome Party is 8705 W. Fawn Brook St. in Boise, 83714.

What time should I arrive?

We ask that you get to Stone Crossing 30 minutes prior to our ceremony start time so that you can park, grab your drink, and find a seat. We will be starting our ceremony promptly at 4:30 pm.

Is the venue inside or outside?

The ceremony and reception will both be outdoors with access to indoor bar, restrooms, and indoor seating. Depending on weather, there is availability to move all wedding events indoors if needed.

What will the weather be like?

While Idaho usually gives us beautiful fall weather in October, there is a slight chance of rain or snow. There will be indoor access if the weather does not permit for outside activity. We will also have industrial outdoor space heaters during our reception but we do recommend bringing a jacket to be prepared for a cold night just in case! This weekend last year was beautiful, sunny, 80 degree weather. We are putting it out into the universe that it will be the same for 2024!

Plus ones and children?

We ask that you only bring whoever is listed in your group as you RSVP online. Our venue and catering vendor both rely on an accurate number, and we cannot exceed the number of guests we have already given them.

Is there a dress code?

We want you to feel comfortable and be prepared to dance the night away! There is no strict dress code but we recommend dressy casual or cocktail attire. Our only request is no jeans, thank you!

What is on the menu?

Stone Crossing will be preparing salad with a lime Caesar dressing, chips and salsa, cilantro-lime rice, beans, and a full taco bar with grilled chicken asada and pork carnitas. All food will be served buffet style.

Will there be alcohol at this event?

Yes! Specific wine, beer, and white claws will be on us throughout the evening! Stone Crossing does offer a full bar for purchase should you want something else.

Is there a wedding hashtag?

You bet there is! We are asking that our ceremony remain unplugged so that our photographer can capture our special moment and our guests faces! But the rest of the wedding is fair game! We ask that you use the hashtag #fullnelson for any wedding related social media posts.

Is there transportation to and from the venue?

If you would like to drive yourself to Stone Crossing, there is plenty of onsite parking. You are welcome to leave your car at the venue as long as it is picked up by 10:30am the next day. If you stay at The Hilton Garden Inn or The Homewood Suites, they do provide a shuttle service to and from the venue if a certain number of guests request the shuttle- if you are staying at these hotels, please let us know! We have to let the hotels know if we will be using their shuttle or not. There is also Uber and Lyft available.
