We recommend stopping by Saltwater Cowboys as well as Tavern & Table at Shem Creek. Both great restaurants on the water with a view.

Downtown Charleston offers a large variety of shopping opportunities. The market has a lot of local artists and hand made crafts available. There are also nicer outlet stores up and down king street that do not disappoint.

We recommend exploring all downtown Charleston has to offer. Here are just a few things that we enjoy. Horse drawn carriage tours , walk the battery, go by rainbow row, South Carolina aquarium, the Charleston museum, and finally, we enjoy just walking the roads in the city and seeing the homes.

We are getting married at a plantation but that is just one of several that are around. We highly recommend going to see some of the others. Boone Hall Plantation and Magnolia Plantation are the first two that come to mind.

Folly Beach, Sullivan Island, Isle of Palms, and Kiawah Island are some of the closest beaches to Charleston.
