Our Story

It was 11 or 12 years ago, depending on who you ask, in a German philosophy class. Myra aced it with flying colors, while Darian... well, he might have attended 2.5 classes before dropping out. That was the first time Myra set eyes on her future beau.Their paths crossed again not long after, at a house party hosted by mutual friends. Darian, ever the child at heart and enchanted by all things Disney, noticed a cute girl wearing a "Little Mermaid" t-shirt. One might say it was history from there, but not quite. Myra was initially hesitant towards Darian's goofy advances—after all, he was trying to flirt over a mutual love for the Little Mermaid. What a weirdo, right?But Darian was undeterred; in fact, he was motivated. Despite Myra's resistance, Darian persisted. After much wooing, Myra decided to give this quirky oddball a small chance. Darian had to channel his inner John Cusack from "Say Anything" to really win her over. After a loud and possibly incoherent profession of love outside Myra's apartment window, she thought... he seemed alright.With a few more grand gestures and heartfelt declarations, Myra finally relented, and that’s when their real adventure began. But let's be brutally honest. The true secret to Darian’s success wasn’t just his charm—it was his faithful wingwoman, Sayde. Sayde, his first love and an irresistibly adorable dog, was a bona fide heart-stealer. She had a way of melting hearts wherever she went, and Myra's was no exception. Sayde’s youthful exuberance and undeniable cuteness made Darian look like the perfect package. In the end, Myra realized that if she wanted to keep Sayde in her life, she had to take Darian too—a delightful package deal she never knew she needed. Over the past 11-12 years, Myra and Darian have experienced the highest of highs and the lowest of lows that life has to offer. This time spent together has forged a resilient love, one they both share deeply for each other and their life together.

This is a Family Friendly resort, only a handful of rooms have been blocked here! This is for our couples with children who are along for the ride. Please keep in mind our celebration will be a child-free event, as our venue resort does not allow anyone under the age of 18.
