Hunter and I first met in homeroom when I moved to Chapel Hill from Lewisburg in the 7th grade. We shared English with Mrs. Brown, and that is when I noticed him for the first time. As time passed, I noticed the cute boy who sat beside me in English, also is the same boy who lived behind me.

We started dating briefly in the 8th grade but decided it was not for us. Over the next few years we would start talking again, but just knew it still was not the right time. At the end of our junior year, we started talking again, I did not want to jinx it this time so we kept it private for the first few months. On the last day of junior year, we finally decided to start hanging out together to see where it could take us this time, so we went to Waffle House with a few of our closest friends.

Correction, I made him meet me and Abbie Hill at Waffle House.

We started dating at the beginning of senior year and did everything together. Hunter even changed his classes to be in the same ones as me. Shortly after COVID hit, we spent the majority of lockdown watching movies on the trampoline in his backyard and watching the stars. We even spent a few days at his uncle's pond where he ended up proposing to me.

The past few years together have been something we cherish very much, and we can not wait to spend the rest of our lives with each other. We are so excited for all of the people we love to come and support us on such a special day for us.
