Our Wedding

Well&nbsp;this&nbsp;has&nbsp;been&nbsp;a&nbsp;long&nbsp;time&nbsp;coming.&nbsp;&nbsp;Drew&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;first&nbsp;meet&nbsp;9&nbsp;years&nbsp;ago&nbsp;in&nbsp;2012.&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;a&nbsp;sophomore&nbsp;and&nbsp;Drew&nbsp;was&nbsp;a&nbsp;freshman&nbsp;at&nbsp;Eckerd&nbsp;College&nbsp;in&nbsp;St.&nbsp;Petersburg,&nbsp;FL.&nbsp;It&nbsp;was&nbsp;early&nbsp;in&nbsp;October&nbsp;and&nbsp;a&nbsp;party&nbsp;was&nbsp;going&nbsp;on&nbsp;somewhere&nbsp;on&nbsp;campus.&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;talking&nbsp;to&nbsp;one&nbsp;of&nbsp;Drew's&nbsp;&nbsp;friends&nbsp;when&nbsp;he&nbsp;came&nbsp;over&nbsp;and&nbsp;started&nbsp;chatting&nbsp;me&nbsp;up.&nbsp;We&nbsp;talked&nbsp;till&nbsp;3&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;morning!&nbsp;Missed&nbsp;most&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;party&nbsp;but&nbsp;we&nbsp;just&nbsp;couldn't&nbsp;break&nbsp;away&nbsp;from&nbsp;each&nbsp;other.&nbsp;After&nbsp;that&nbsp;we&nbsp;spent&nbsp;almost&nbsp;every&nbsp;day&nbsp;together.&nbsp;I&nbsp;kept&nbsp;waiting&nbsp;and&nbsp;waiting&nbsp;until&nbsp;finally&nbsp;I&nbsp;asked&nbsp;him&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;my&nbsp;boyfriend&nbsp;on&nbsp;November&nbsp;2nd,&nbsp;2012&nbsp;and&nbsp;he&nbsp;said&nbsp;yes!&nbsp; After&nbsp;that&nbsp;we&nbsp;graduated&nbsp;from&nbsp;Eckerd&nbsp;and&nbsp;moved&nbsp;to&nbsp;Rhode&nbsp;Island.&nbsp;Years&nbsp;later&nbsp;we&nbsp;planned&nbsp;a&nbsp;30th&nbsp;birthday&nbsp;trip&nbsp;to&nbsp;New&nbsp;Orleans&nbsp;and&nbsp;met&nbsp;up&nbsp;with&nbsp;my&nbsp;family&nbsp;who&nbsp;I&nbsp;had&nbsp;not&nbsp;seen&nbsp;in&nbsp;3&nbsp;years.&nbsp;Drew&nbsp;planned&nbsp;the&nbsp;proposal&nbsp;with&nbsp;my&nbsp;brother&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;so&nbsp;he&nbsp;could&nbsp;take&nbsp;the&nbsp;photos.&nbsp;I&nbsp;had&nbsp;no&nbsp;cule&nbsp;what&nbsp;was&nbsp;going&nbsp;to&nbsp;happen.&nbsp;I&nbsp;even&nbsp;tried&nbsp;to&nbsp;help&nbsp;Drew&nbsp;dry&nbsp;his&nbsp;shirt&nbsp;from&nbsp;all&nbsp;the&nbsp;sweat&nbsp;and&nbsp;just&nbsp;thought&nbsp;he&nbsp;was&nbsp;not&nbsp;used&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;heat&nbsp;anymore.&nbsp;Then&nbsp;before&nbsp;dinner&nbsp;we&nbsp;all&nbsp;walked&nbsp;to&nbsp;this&nbsp;wonderful&nbsp;spot&nbsp;by&nbsp;the&nbsp;water&nbsp;and&nbsp;in&nbsp;front&nbsp;of&nbsp;my&nbsp;family,&nbsp;Drew&nbsp;got&nbsp;on&nbsp;one&nbsp;knee&nbsp;and&nbsp;asked&nbsp;me&nbsp;to&nbsp;marry&nbsp;him.&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;so&nbsp;surprised&nbsp;that&nbsp;the&nbsp;first&nbsp;thing&nbsp;I&nbsp;said&nbsp;was&nbsp;"seriously!"&nbsp;Then&nbsp;yes&nbsp;so&nbsp;Drew&nbsp;could&nbsp;stop&nbsp;panicking.&nbsp;I&nbsp;thought&nbsp;I&nbsp;had&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;dreaming.&nbsp; After&nbsp;9&nbsp;years&nbsp;I&nbsp;finally&nbsp;get&nbsp;my&nbsp;ring&nbsp;and&nbsp;to&nbsp;start&nbsp;planning&nbsp;on&nbsp;marrying&nbsp;my&nbsp;best&nbsp;friend!&nbsp;We&nbsp;can't&nbsp;wait&nbsp;to&nbsp;share&nbsp;this&nbsp;celebration&nbsp;of&nbsp;love&nbsp;with&nbsp;our&nbsp;friends&nbsp;and&nbsp;family!&nbsp;See&nbsp;you&nbsp;all&nbsp;in&nbsp;Fall&nbsp;2023!

One&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;first&nbsp;friends&nbsp;I&nbsp;made&nbsp;when&nbsp;I&nbsp;moved&nbsp;to&nbsp;Florida.&nbsp;We&nbsp;played&nbsp;soccer&nbsp;for&nbsp;a&nbsp;few&nbsp;years&nbsp;and&nbsp;then&nbsp;I&nbsp;had&nbsp;to&nbsp;transfer&nbsp;to&nbsp;another&nbsp;school&nbsp;and&nbsp;we&nbsp;lost&nbsp;touch.&nbsp;Then&nbsp;freshman&nbsp;year&nbsp;of&nbsp;college&nbsp;at&nbsp;Eckerd&nbsp;we&nbsp;ended&nbsp;up&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;same&nbsp;dorm!&nbsp;From&nbsp;then&nbsp;we&nbsp;became&nbsp;closer&nbsp;friends&nbsp;❤️&nbsp;sometimes&nbsp;the&nbsp;world&nbsp;can&nbsp;feel&nbsp;so&nbsp;big&nbsp;and&nbsp;so&nbsp;small&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;same&nbsp;time&nbsp;but&nbsp;I'm&nbsp;lucky&nbsp;to&nbsp;have&nbsp;KC&nbsp;in&nbsp;my&nbsp;life.

There is a total of 20 rooms blocked off for us. 4 that are standard double queen for $229 a night and 16 that are standard king for $209 a night. They will honor the same price if you come a day or two early.
