We met on the bowling team in high school. I had a crush on him for a couple months before I even said anything to him. Then we went on two dates. Our first date was at Steak n Shake and went to Big River to bowl. Then he didn't talk to me much for about five months, we talked on and off. Then we both went to college, he moved to Oskaloosa, IA. We started talking again and it became a everyday thing. Then he asked me to be his girlfriend on September 1st. We ended up doing long distance for a month or two. Covid hit and he came back and has been back ever since. We enjoy going to races and just spending time with each other. He proposed to me on August 9th 2021. We went bowling like any other time and I turned around to my family all standing there and him down on one knee.
