Our Wedding

Sean and Nadia met thanks to a little thing called Hinge during a little thing called The Pandemic. All it took was seeing Sean in knee high socks with shorts, a taste of his mediocre chocolate chip pancakes, and singing some songs and Nadia was hooked. A year and a half later Nadia "won" a couples photo shoot on Facebook on New Years Day, 2022. Little did she know it was all planned out by Sean and after a few photos, Sean got down on one knee and proposed... much to her surprise. She of course said yes which brings us to now.

While we would like to pretend that the day is just about us, the fact is we couldn't possibly do it alone. Meet the crack team we have put together that will be with us on our special day and the years to come!

Candice has been one of Nadia's closest friends since moving to Edmonton in grade 9. She is sunshine in human form and has the most wonderful heart. As soon as Nadia and Sean were engaged, she knew instantly that she had to have Candice standing right beside her through it all.

Smart, suave, funny, looks good in a suit... these are all the characteristics of a great Best Man. While Tyler may not fit that description, there is no one who Sean would rather have as his Best Man.

From their awkward teen years, to living together in college, to the men they have become today. Tyler and Sean have been through it all and there is no one Sean would rather have beside him.

Victoria alleges that it was when Nadia tripped her that they first met. Nadia refutes this but regardless it was after this that the two became good friends. After more than 15 years of friendship Nadia is so excited to have one of her oldest friends standing beside her on her special day.

Matt is Sean's oldest friend, meeting way back in kindergarten and the two have remained friends ever since... neither is certain if that is necessarily a positive or a negative thing. The two have shared in plenty of great moments together and Sean is excited to add this to a long list of good memories.

After having to put up with her brother for most of her life, Nadia finally got rewarded by getting a fantastic sister-in-law in Noemi. Noemi will always be the OG sister-in-law and her partner in crime/ice cream.

Nicholas isn't just a brother-in-law or Nadia's brother to Sean. Whether it is bonding over sports, playing Mafia, or just hanging out, Sean considers Nick as one of his closest friends and is excited to share this day with him.

It's supposed to be stressful meeting the family of your significant other but Nadia lucked out with two fantastic future sister-in-laws. Her and Brynna quickly bonded over their love of Pad Thai and cheese. Nadia is excited for many more years of discovering terrible reality tv shows together and making fun of Sean. 

Brynna Maloughney

Sean and Jake met by happenstance, ending up grouped together on the same Slo-Pitch team. Most of that team stayed together in the summers to come and Sean gained a great friend in Jake. Whether it is playing ball, board games, or watching the Oilers, Sean is glad to have Jake as a friend.

Nadia loves Jess....'s dogs Reggie and Sadie. Jess is also pretty great. Jokes aside Nadia can always count on her future sister-in-law for advice on anything. Jess is the life of any party. If you are looking for Jess at the wedding, look no further than the dance floor. Nadia feels so lucky to have another big sister and friend in Jess.

It only took some "interesting conversation" at a family dinner, the first time Sean met Rob for him to realize that the two were going to be great friends. Sean is glad to have Rob as a brother, friend and groomsman... even if he is a Leafs fan.

While Nadine's husband Adam might technically be Nadia's cousin, Nadine is Nadia's favourite cousin. If you ever need  a party planned, complete with invitations, a charcuterie board, and decorations within a days notice... Nadine is your gal.

Nadine Naboulsi

No one is a better hype man than Josh. His genuine excitement about Sean and Nadia's wedding was one of the big reasons that prompted Sean to ask Josh to be his groomsman. He might have terrible taste in snacks but great taste in friends.

Josh McCutcheon 

When asked about if he was excited to be Sean and Nadia's ringbearer, Benjamin pointed, sprinted across the room, and proceeded to  bang on his drum set . They assume that means he is excited to be apart of their special day.
