We met in July 2023 in a way that still makes us laugh—at a work party for my dad’s company! He’s a plumber working for my dad, and my dad had been hinting that I should come meet this “great new guy” on the team. Even though I don’t work there, I went to the party… and we ended up talking for three hours straight. From that very first conversation, its fair to say we hit it off. (Thanks Dad) Despite the slightly tricky dynamic of dating your boss’s daughter, we made it official that September, and our relationship has grown beautifully ever since. We first bonded over our shared faith in Jesus, which remains the foundation of our relationship today. We love spending time together, whether it’s relaxing or heading out on new adventures, and we truly can’t wait to begin this next chapter surrounded by all of you.
