Our Wedding

It was a warm summer evening in Charleston, South Carolina, when our paths first crossed. Fate brought us together at a charming little dive bar. Nadia, who did most of the talking that night, and Jon began sharing stories of family and friends. It felt as though we had known each other forever. After a great first date, we spent a year together in Charleston exploring, making countless memories, and networking with our friends. At this time, our love strengthened and our bond deepened. Eventually, life got in the middle. We both were at different points of our careers and we had to sacrifice the time we had spent together. Jon continued to work in Charleston and Nadia started a residency program in Philadelphia. For a year, we navigated the challenges of a long-distance relationship. We learned to cherish every moment together, take risks, develop patience, and support each other regardless of the miles apart. In all, the distance made the reunions much more special. The separation only lasted a year. It ultimately pushed us into a new chapter of our lives. Jon proposed on May 11th, 2024 in a beautiful garden by UNC Chapel Hill. Nadia of course said “yes!”. Currently, we both reside in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. As we get settled into our little home, we wanted to share the news of our wedding happening in September 2025! We cannot wait to celebrate alongside the people we most love and cherish.

We recommend flying into Long Island MacArthur Airport, if possible. It is the closest airport to the North Fork of Long Island. Other nearby airports include John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and LaGuardia Airport (LGA) in NYC.
