Where do I book accommodation?
We recommend getting accommodation around the area. We suggest the below venues which are close to our venue. Some options include Four Points by Sheraton Bali, Jumana Bali Ungasan Resort, Karma Kandara. I recommend getting a group of people for the accommodation to ensure the vibes are high!
What day do I fly there?
Nadja & I will be flying to Bali on the Saturday the 12th of October, but you can fly any day that suits you!
What do I wear?
Considering the tropical climate, we invite our guests to dress in a way that ensures comfort while capturing the vibrant essence of Bali. Opt for lightweight, breathable fabrics. Men, consider elegant suits or breathable linen, while ladies, bring out your colourful, formal dresses to add a lively touch to our special celebration!
Do I need a VISA?
Yes, you will need a Visa! Visa's are available on arrival at the airport, or you can apply online. If you want to apply online, you must apply 14-days prior to your departure date. The cost is $50, and it is valid for 30-days.
Do I bring a gift?
Your presence on our wedding day is the greatest gift of all. If you do however wish to make a small contribution to our new life as a married couple, a wishing well will be present on the day.
Pre & Post Wedding
We will be arriving in Bali on Saturday the 12th of October and staying in Canggu. If you would like to join us for pre wedding celebrations at Finn's Beach Club on the 13th. We will check-in to our wedding villa on the 15th (The Ungasan) in Uluwatu. Our wedding is on the 16th of October, and there will be a recovery party on the 17th at Sunday's Beach Club! After this, you can choose to create your own plans or travel around Bali and continue to celebrate with us!
Bali Belly?
We want your time in Bali to be filled with beautiful memories, not bellyaches. To try best avoid 'Bali belly,' make friends with bottled water. Stay hydrated, but keep a safe distance from tap water and ice cubes if you can. Embrace the delicious local cuisine, but give the street food carts a miss if they look shady.
For an extra layer of protection, consider bringing some probiotics. These can help to boost your immune system, and remember wash your hands regularly, stick to reputable eateries. We don't want anyone to get sick for our special day!
