Nancy &amp; Jeff met through the typical dating app route. However, everything from the start was atypical.Fate brought Nancy &amp; Jeff together for their first date on December 15, 2018. Both were exhausted, and tried to flake, but both felt bad about leaving the other person hanging. The stars aligned that evening &amp; they both ended up meeting for a late 10pm dinner on that cold Saturday night after an 8-hour work day. The dinner was short and unimpressive, but the cab ride home was long, giving them the opportunity to connect, which led to a follow up date a few days later.Date #2 was once again unimpressive.Date #3 (ok it may have been Date #3.5), and many calls/text later, they ended up spending a long weekend together in Miami after Christmas. 96 hours with one person will make you either love someone or kill someone (unsure if Nancy knows which one yet).When they got back to New York on New Year's Eve, after only 2 weeks of meeting, Jeff asked Nancy to be his girlfriend.88 dates later, Jeff asked Nancy to marry him on 8/17/2019 (he couldn't wait until 8/18/2019!) in Miami, the city where it all began.They both share a love for laughing and binging on delicious food, and are really excited to have you at their celebration, which will be full of good food and laughs!

Our Story

The Crew

Erica and Nancy met when they worked together at the YMCA as summer camp counselors in 2003. They bonded over the grueling job of being a camp counselor. Being around kids every day will drive you nuts (see picture LOL). But they were there for each other from the beginning.

That summer, they really got to know each other as they roamed the streets of Chinatown, watched many movies at Regal Battery Park, and spent their $5.15/hr minimum wage pay on sneakers and dinners.

Their friendship grew stronger over the years and to this day, their friendship is still full of cards, treats and little things in life.

Erica is one of the most sweetest and thoughtful friends that Nancy has.

Jeny and Nancy met in high school in 2002. They were both on the handball team (yes that was a real team) and became fast friends.

Since then, Jeny has taken on the Boyfriend title - they have cute nicknames for each other, travel around the world annually (Adventures of Crazypants & Nankay), run 5Ks (ok fine this was a one time thing), love taking awkward photos (see photo above), party together, sing in the car together, and just giggle everywhere they go.

Jeny is always down for anything and is there when Nancy needs her. Stay out until 3am? Run a 5K without any training? Go to a 4 hour puns contest? Sure! (It was called Punderdome in case you are interested).

Jeny is one of the funniest, silliest, and carefree friends that Nancy has.

Tiff and Nancy met in high school in 2002. They hit it off immediately and became best friends during their lunch periods and when Tiff walked Nancy to her afterschool job at the YMCA. Even though Nancy had commitment issues and ignored Tiff when Tiff got Nancy a "Best Friends" key chain (LOL), Tiff still stood by her side.

Tiff is like the sister that Nancy never had. Nancy spent countless nights with Tiff's family in Chinatown and for the holidays.

Tiff & Nancy have been through so much together. They can talk to each other about anything - their careers, fears, relationships and more. Nancy knows that Tiff will never judge and will always provide great advice. Nancy is thankful to have a best friend who understands her better than she understands herself!

Tiffany is one of the most loyal, patient and analytical friends that Nancy has.

Nancy met Janelle in 2007 when they were both running for positions on the Chinese Students Association e-board at Cornell. They became fast friends despite Janelle initially thinking Nancy would be a mean B when she first saw Nancy, and Nancy being jealous that Janelle didn’t do any of the work to be elected on the e-board but still got elected  😂    just goes to show how cool Janelle is! They have so many good memories together - from CSA events and meetings, to collegetown parties to VEGASSSSS/BRITNEYYYY (remember when the pool water splashed on us and we both freaked out? Germaphobes unite!). They both share a love for food and exploring new restaurants together and corny jokes. Janelle is one of the most organized, curious, & down to earth intellects that Nancy knows!

14 years, after a very cold night in the middle of a cold, rainy, dark forest, for a fraternity pledging event would bring anyone together. From the start of their friendship Everett & Jeff went through many challenging but fun, great & unique memorable times together that have kept them brothers to this day.

14 years, started with tension as with Khristian & Jeff went neck and neck against each other on many things/people. Oddly enough their worlds collided for the best, and both of their lives ran in sync in the pursuit of happiness & success as they both grew together into men and better individuals, in not only their professional life but personal, which has bonded them and kept them brothers to this day.

18 years, from acquaintance, friendship to brothers, Rady and Jeff both grew up together in Florida, first bonding over basketball, girls, gym (you know the usual stuff) then many of life pursuits, Although their paths couldn't be any much more different, their commitment to excellence in work, life, relationships & friendship, gave them a strong foundation that would keep them strong brothers to this day.

TRANSPORTATION You can fly into any of the following Airports: LGA, JFK, or EWR and stay in Manhattan or by the venue. If you are staying in Manhattan, there are two ways you can get to venue: (1) We will have a private bus that will take all guest directly to the wedding venue and back (2) Share an Uber with other people! It should take 45 min. to 1 hour (~$70-$100 one way); or (3) Take the Metro North train from Grand Central to White Plains, then a 10-15 minute taxi to the venue ($25-$30 one way). (4) If you have a car, you can drive 30 miles north which will take between 45 - 70 minutes depending on traffic.

1. Are children welcome?Children are welcome to attend pre- and post-wedding events, but we would like to keep the wedding an adults only affair. We are happy to help find babysitters. Please reach out to us. 2. Food allergies?Please let us know of any allergies and we’ll work with our caterers to accommodate you. 3. Dress code?Whatever you feel comfortable in! Whether it be your black-tie outfit, Sunday best, or chill jumpsuit - we want you to be comfortable and ready to eat &amp; party! Bad dancing required. We will have an outdoor ceremony so keep in mind the grass when selecting footwear. 4. Registry?We will not be having a registry (NYC apartments can't fit much! haha). However, if you would like to honor us with a gift towards our honeymoon or new life together, we would greatly appreciate it! We promise not to blame you when we gain 10 lbs from our honeymoon travels :)
