The Lexington Distillery District is revitalized piece of Lexington history and home to the James E. Pepper Distillery. You’ll also find another working bourbon distillery on the historic site, as well as bars, breweries, restaurants, music venues, independent retailers, and more. The easily walkable area combined with its diverse food and drink offerings makes the Distillery District one of Lexington’s most exciting hotspots.
Agave & Rye is Josh and Nancy's favorite restaurant and was actually the place we went on our first date. Agave & Rye's menu features unique chef-inspired tacos and creative cocktails. There are two locations in Lexington, one is downtown and another by the Fayette Mall.
The Arboretum, State Botanical Garden of Kentucky, is a 100-acre public garden located on the campus of the University of Kentucky in the heart of Lexington, Kentucky. Open from dawn to dusk, you won't regret making a stop here.
