Norfolk International Airport-Orf (ORF)
Norfolk Airport is the closest regional airport to the Outer Banks and is just under a 2 hour drive to The Sanderling.
We recommend coordinating flight times with friends and family so you can split a car service or rent a vehicle together.
Raleigh Durham International Airport (RDU) is another option and is 4 hours from the Sanderling Resort. Although this airport is further away, the drive to the islands is incredibly scenic. Along the way, you’ll pass long bridges and gorgeous waterways.
Amtrak station
You can take the train to Norfolk which is a 2 hour drive to the Sanderling.
ISLAND Limousine
If you need to arrange transportation from Norfolk International Airport, Island Limo is your best bet.

Hampton Inn & Suites Outer Banks/ Corolla
This hotel is a 5 minute drive from the wedding venue. To receive the group discount, you MUST call the local number and reference the Wilson/Crutchfield wedding (you will not receive the discount if you book online or through the 800 number).

The Outer Banks is filled with beautiful vacation homes! Be sure to search in Duck or southern Corolla to be close to the wedding venue, located in the Sanderling community.
