When Nandhi moved to Macon in 2018 to restart life, falling in love was not apart of her plan. She was fresh out of a relationship, had a 3 month old baby boy in tow, and her main focus was him. However, as the quote says: want to make God laugh, tell him your plans.

Nandhi started working immediately at TXRH as a part time server, where Ciera was working as well while finishing her degree. What started as a simple question, "Do you date women?," blossomed into their love story many know and have witnessed. They officially started dating in October of 2018, and Ciera quickly became a major part of Nandhi's decision to to stay in Macon GA.

Now the road to engagement was a longggggggggggggg journey. There was plenty of ups and downs. But two things remained constant, and that was the love they shared for one another, as well as Ciera's love for Nandhi's son Marcellus.

On April 17th of 2021 Ciera planned a surprise birthday party for Nandhi's 26th birthday. And they were joined by their closest friends and family where Ciera then proposed and asked Nandhi to spend forever and a day with her. And thus to race to the alter was on!
