Hi friends! We are definitely excited to have everyone coming to Oregon for the wedding. We appreciate everyone making the time and the trip. We wanted to provide a couple suggestions of where to stay if you are coming from out of state or out of country.
The wedding will be held in Monmouth, Oregon. Which is an hour away from Portland and Eugene. Both locations have hotels and apartments to rent for a couple of nights. If you decide to stay in Portland we recommend you stay outside of Portland city and look at surrounding cities such as Hillsboro, Beaverton, Clackamas and Gresham. Downtown Portland can be difficult to navigate and is not the most secure of places to stay.
Salem, Albany and Corvallis are all 30 minutes from Monmouth and will have hotels and small apartments to rent for a couple of nights. We recommend one of these locations since they are closer to the Venue.
There are some locations in Dallas, Oregon as well, which is about 20 minutes away from Monmouth.
If you are in the wedding party, and are traveling down to Oregon, we recommend you stay in Eugene, that's where the bride, groom and immediate family will be staying.
If you would rather stay in a small house or apartment you can search through the AirBnB website. There are a lot of little apartments, homes and studio's that people rent out. These can potentially be cheaper than booking a hotel for a weekend.
You can look up airbnb.com and search for the location you would like and reserve a space. We recommend doing this sooner rather than later because spaces like these can fill up quick over the summer.
You will have to make an account to reserve and book a place.
There are more than just these hotels in each of these cities. There are most likely hotels that you can book for cheaper. These are just some of the hotels that we recommend while you stay here. A quick Google search of hotels in each of these cities will provide more than what we have suggested here. Thank you again for being willing to make the trip to Oregon, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out!
