Our Wedding

Where do we begin? Jay and I first became friends when we lived around the corner from each other our senior year of college. He lived with our mutual friend RJ and pretty quickly our two houses became very close. From Halloween to date parties and formals to the boys our pranking our house our friendship grew. That year our houses bonded over a love of drinking games and my puppy Georgia. Our friend group remained close after graduating and eventually moving out of Clifton. Jay and I always knew we liked each other and were too afraid to admit it, but Jay finally got the guts to ask me on a date and the rest is history. One day on our way to our friends house for a doggy play date we stopped at Ault Park to help a friend find his phone, and little did I know it was Jay’s plan all along to propose! My sister Ellen was hiding in the bushes to capture the moment, and I was surprised with an engagement party with most of our very best friends. We are very lucky to have had our family and friends around us for so many of our favorite memories and can’t wait to share our wedding day with you all! See you in April!

HOTEL PARKINGValet parking directly in front of the hotel is $30 per car, per day with unlimited in-and-out privileges.Self-parking in the garage attached to our hotel is $2 per hour, per car, maxing out at $10 for a 24-hour day with no in-and-out privileges. Once you depart the garage, your time would start over.

ARE KIDS INVITED?Unfortunately no. This is an adults-only celebration! WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?Cocktail attire is requested - so cocktail dresses for the ladies and suits and ties or sport coats for the men. WILL THE CEREMONY, COCKTAIL HOUR, AND RECEPTION TAKE PLACE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?Weather in April is unpredictable, closer to the wedding date we will decide between an indoor vs outdoor ceremony. Cocktail hour and the reception will be indoors. IS THERE GOING TO BE A SHUTTLE FROM HOTEL TO DREES PAVILION?A shuttle will be provided from the hotel before and after the wedding for those who book a room with the block. Uber and Lyft are great options in the area. IS THERE FREE PARKING AT DREES PAVILION?Yes, there will be plenty of parking available.
