Sometimes love doesn’t arrive in perfect timing — but it always arrives right on time.

We first met through my cousin, who introduced us while he was test-driving a car with some mutual friends. At the time, I didn’t think much of it… besides noticing he was a cute Mexican and seemed pretty cool. Funny how fate plants seeds when you least expect it.

We reconnected later through social media — a few messages turned into conversations, and those conversations turned into something deeper. The connection felt instant and real. What truly pulled us together, though, was our determination to make it work — no matter the distance or the circumstances.

I’ll never forget when he drove straight from Florida, during a work trip, just to come meet me in person for the very first time. That was the start of something different. Something real.

From the very beginning, he’s been the one to make me laugh — especially when I needed it most. Whether it was his sweet personality or his way of teasing me just enough to get me to giggle, he quickly became my safe space.

We’ve faced more than most couples our age: navigating young parenthood, health challenges, and even living over 100 miles apart while I was in the hospital. And yet, through it all, he was there — showing up for me every weekend, never letting the hard moments shake what we were building together.

Our proposal happened during a family trip to Arizona, on a beautiful hike surrounded by nature. With the view stretching out before us and the people we love nearby, he asked me to marry him. We even carved our names into a tree by the trail — a small forever etched into the place where we said “yes” to forever.

This journey hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been ours — full of love, laughter, growth, and unwavering loyalty. We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter with you.
