The Jewish Ghetto in Rome is known worldwide for their incredibly beautiful Synagogue. To prepare for your trip, please note that all the synagogues in Rome, which could be found here require advanced registration before Friday at 2 pm in order to gain entrance. You will need to complete the following form for entry, click here.
Since 2014, Chabad in the Piazza Bologna area in Rome hosts large family-style Shabbat meals for all to enjoy. At the moment, Chabad only host Friday night, however on Shabbat day there is a Kiddush in the Synagogue.

Besides Chabad, you can also book a Kosher restaurant in the Jewish Ghetto to enjoy your Shabbat meal at. Restaurants (not Glatt) in the Ghetto are open on Shabbat by prepaying food in advance. The price is (the price is €45 per person per meal. Restaurant options include Bella Carne, Renato, and Yotvata. Please contact them directly to book your meal.
Meals could also be purchased at the restaurants before Shabbat. They close at around 3 pm.
