Our story began in an unexpected way—on a dating app—while he was stationed in Valdosta, Georgia. Not long after matching, he made the drive to my hometown to take me on our very first date. One small but special sign stood out from the very beginning—he lived on a street with the same name as my mom, Lori, who had passed just a few months before we met. It felt like a quiet reminder that she was watching over me every step of the way.

We’ve been together ever since March 2022, building a life full of love, laughter, and countless memories along the way. Through every chapter, we’ve grown together and supported one another, knowing we had found something truly special.

On New Year’s Eve 2024, in my favorite place—Hickory Bluff, he asked me to marry him. It was the perfect moment, made even sweeter by the place that means so much to us. Of course, I said yes.

Now, we’re so excited to begin this next chapter together and can’t wait to celebrate with our family and friends on St. Simons! 🤍
