Our story started about 3 years ago. Natalee had redownloaded the dating app, Hinge, for, what felt, like the 100th time, with the intention of showing Catie, her roommate at the time, that there were most certainly zero men on the app that she would possibly want to talk to much less spend time going on a date with. And wouldn't you know it, Austin had already liked and commented on her page a couple of days before. Austin had a perfectly crafted opening line that was so original and funny, that Natalee responded right away. After so many "Sups" Austin's comment was so funny and refreshing!

Austin said that he used that same opening line on a lot of women on Hinge, but Natalee was the first person to go along with the "bit" that he started. Austin said he always knew that the person that played along with the bit would be someone worth investing some time into getting to know. So that is what we did. We talked for several days over text and then set a date to meet over drinks! We went to Whiskey Bear (R.I.P) for our first date and we have been making each other laugh and endlessly confusing other people with out "bits" ever since!
