When do I need to RSVP by?
Please RSVP by March 12, 2025.
Who is invited?
We would love to be able to include all members of each family on our wedding day, but due to venue limitations we can only accomodate the guests that are listed on your invitation.
How do I get there?
Please see below for directions to American Creek Lodge. If you use any mapping apps other than Google maps, it will take you to the wrong place. Please note that there is also an American Creek Road, but the lodge is on American Creek Forestry Service Road.
Directions from Vancouver:
1. Take Highway 1 East to Hope.
2. Take Exit 170 (Cache Creek / Prince George exit).
3. Follow the signs for Cache Creek out of Hope. After around 5 km, you will see Lake of the Woods Motel on the left and the Cariboo Trail Trailer Park. Immediately after look for the Gravel Road Entrance - American Creek Forestry Service Road (FSR) on the left side of the highway. Be ready to make a left turn. There will be a wedding sign that will prompt you on where to turn left.
4. Follow up American Creek Forestry Service Road and American Creek Lodge is just past the 0.5K marker. It is the first driveway with gates on the right. The electrical room is at the driveway entrance with 23200 on it. Keep a look out for lights on the right hand side of the forestry road.
Where do I park?
Please park on the forest service road prior to the gate that leads into the driveway of the lodge. You will need to walk a short distance from your car to the entrance of the lodge.
What do I wear?
We would love to see everyone dressed up for our wedding and kindly request that you dress in semi-formal attire. Thank you for joining us in style!
When does the ceremony start?
The ceremony starts at 3:30 pm. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to settle in and find a seat.
What is the bar set up?
We will be having an open bar during the cocktail hour and reception. Please drink responsibly.
The taxi company is called Hope Taxi. Please bring cash for the taxi.
Do you have a registry?
As two people who have joined homes, we have our dishes, appliances and towels for two. Pots, pans, and a toaster too. Knives, forks, and spoons galore. There isn't much room for anything more! For those who wish to give us a gift, a cheque or cash would give us a lift. Your generosity will help us start our new chapter as a married couple!
