Thank you for visiting our wedding website! We are Natalie and Michael.

If you have made it this far you are probably someone who knows and loves us. And chances are you may already know a little bit about our story, but we love sharing how God brought us together, so here it is again.

As we both were longing to meet someone special and truly praying they would enter our lives, we both turned to the dating app Hinge. Both of us had very bad luck at first and were going to move on. However, we matched on July 27th, had our first date on August 7th, and became "official" on August 12th. Michael wasn't messing around.

Shortly thereafter we realized that Natalie's friend, Katie, was dating Michael's brother, Eric. We know without a doubt that God had a hand in that and could not be happier about it.

We enjoyed hammocking in parks, taking trips to visit friends and family, and just getting to know one another more deeply. It was really fun to sit back and say "we've only been dating for how long? It seems like so much longer! Like I've known you forever." Those kind of thoughts were certainly signs that things were headed in the right direction.

On March 13th Natalie and Michael went to Hope College (Natalie's alma mater) to visit with some friends and walk the campus. That afternoon, on top of a dune overlooking Lake Michigan, Michael got on one knee, said "Natalie, you are perfect for me. Will you marry me?" while Natalie said "No....Stop it..." in excitement and then "YES!!!!"

We were then able to celebrate with friends and family!

We are so excited for August 21st, 2021. It is right around the corner. We are also filled with anticipation for what God has in store for us in the coming months and years. A lifetime of adventures.

We are so grateful for the love and support we have received from all of our friends and family throughout the years as single people, but also as a couple. We hope you all know how much we value your thoughts and prayers and will strive to return the favor!
