Our Wedding

We first met—kind of—while working at the same company in 2020. It was all remote, so we barely knew each other, but we did exchange a couple of work-related messages here and there. I’ll admit, I might have gone out of my way to message him a bit... who knew I was just laying the groundwork for our future romance? Eventually, Derrik left the company, and that could have been the end of our story. But months later, while swiping on Tinder, we unexpectedly crossed paths again. It felt like the universe decided we needed a second chance—thank you, cosmic matchmaking! That first date was all it took to know we had something special. From that point on, we were inseparable. Spending more and more time together, it wasn't long before we realized that distance didn't stand a chance against what we were feeling. At the time, we were living on opposite sides of Michigan, but we decided to close that gap. After only a few months, we moved in together, and fast forward three amazing years later, on a perfect evening on Fort Lauderdale Beach, Derrik popped the question, and I said yes. Now, here we are, ready to start our next chapter and celebrate our love with all of you!
