Christopher and Natalie met at Mary G Montgomery High School, a few years after Christopher had moved to Semmes. They rode the same bus to and from school every day for years without ever knowing each other.
In 2016 they were put in the same drama class together. Natalie was not supposed to have that class. It was too late to switch classes, but she slipped a handwritten note under the counselor's door anyway, requesting her classes to be changed. By one of God's miracles, the counselor made the switch, putting them in the same class together where they became friends.
During class projects, he would "forget" his pencils and ask Natalie if he could borrow some of hers. He would push his desk right beside hers so he could sit extra close to her every day. He was the class clown and he was always trying to get her attention (and it definitely worked!) Four months later, Christopher asked Natalie to be his girlfriend. And the rest is history!
The two enjoy living a Christ-centered life, cooking dinner together, playing video games together, going for walks, outdoors, and trying all kinds of new things, such as foreign food and drinks. They love to spend every second together. April of 2023 makes 7 years together!
