Our Wedding

Natalie and Caleb’s story began on their first date at a local brewery in Des Moines. Before the evening was over, they had already planned their second date. That next outing brought them to a disc golf course on an incredibly hot day. During the game, Natalie’s grandfather called to check in, and she casually mentioned she was disc golfing with a “friend”—though she already had a feeling Caleb’s title would soon change. The date ended with an unforgettable moment when they unknowingly sat in a fire ant hill. While the ants left them hurting, they couldn’t wait to see each other again. From that point on, their time together became filled with shared laughter and growing affection. Caleb, working as a police officer in the area where Natalie lived, often stopped by to share dinner with her on his breaks, turning even the simplest moments into something special. As their relationship grew, Natalie and Caleb discovered their shared loves of traveling, trying new foods, staying active, and cheering on their favorite sports teams. Their adventures together have taken them to breathtaking places, including Iceland, where they hiked stunning landscapes, tasted local cuisine, and navigated winding roads. They’ve also explored Portugal, driven across the country to move to Maryland, and embarked on countless other memorable journeys. Now, as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives together, Natalie and Caleb are excited for what the future holds. They can’t wait for more adventures, delicious meals with family and friends, and the many memories yet to be made. They’re so grateful for the love and support of everyone who has been part of their story and can’t wait to celebrate this special moment with you.
