It all started with a right swipe in the spring of 2018. Natalie, a talented hairstylist with a flair for fun, and Alex, an engineer who’s equal parts brainy and kind, met on Bumble. After a few days of witty banter, they decided to meet in person—and the rest is history. Their first date took them to Della Viti for drinks, followed by a movie, and from that night on, they were inseparable.

In 2020, life took them on an adventure to Madison, Wisconsin, where their love continued to grow (along with their appreciation for cheese curds and snow boots). By 2022, they returned to the Des Moines area and settled in West Des Moines—right back where their hearts belong, surrounded by family and friends.

In February 2024, Alex got down on one knee and asked Natalie to be his forever. (Spoiler alert: she said yes!) Now, they’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter with the people who’ve been part of their journey all along.
