Molly currently works as a Clinical Research Coordinator at OHSU. She is originally from St. Louis, MO and moved to Portland in 2019. Natalie and Molly met later that year after the two were set up by Ben and Erik, Molly’s boyfriend, (Ben and Erik were coworkers at that time) so the boys could have a Rogue One movie night at Erik and Molly’s place. Natalie and Molly quickly bonded over the bizarre things they had seen while both working in healthcare as well as their mutual love of wine. Molly is so thankful that Ben and Erik share a love of all things nerdy that ultimately brought her one of her best and forever friends. During her free time, you can usually find Molly spending her time at her favorite wine bar or on one of the local hiking trails. She is also known to spend inordinate amounts of time watching otter videos online because she might be slightly obsessed.

Erik works in property management, and also as a freelance composer for films. He enjoys fine clothing, quality bourbon, and being an unabashed nerd. Erik and Ben first met while working together at a property in Portland. After discovering a shared interest in Star Wars, Magic: The Gathering, and video games, the two became quick friends. They can often be found together playing video games, discussing horror films, and making jokes that would cause George Carlin to blush…always with an Old Fashioned in hand. Erik thinks Natalie is pretty cool too – and he was not paid to say that either.

Shaina met Natalie while they were both beginning their new grad nursing journey at Legacy Emanuel. Shortly after she became roommates with Nat, Ben, and their beautiful fur children. Fast forward a few years, many laughs and movie nights later Shaina has had the wonderful opportunity to watch their relationship continue to flourish and is excited to be a part of their special day. In her spare time, Shaina enjoys the outdoors, reading, and dabbling in the circus arts as a handbalancer, aerialist, and chair balancer.

Abbey Rich got to know Natalie about four years ago when she started dating Natalie’s brother, Collin. She currently lives in Seattle and is moving to Denver to start graduate school to gain her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Regis University this fall. Abbey loves skiing, hiking, traveling, and cooking (trying to keep up with all the amazing Calhoon cooks and bakers!). Abbey has seen Ben & Natalie’s relationship flourish over the years, and is so excited to get to stand beside them on this special day!

Jennie is originally from San Francisco, CA, but moved to Portland in 2016 to study nursing at Linfield College where she met Natalie! Jennie and Natalie became instant best friends and have been through a lot together in the past six years, from crying and laughing all throughout nursing school exams/clinicals to getting into the RN Residency together and are currently working together at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center. Jennie has seen Nat and Ben's relationship grow from the very beginning and cannot wait to celebrate these two amazing people on their special day! Jennie is a proud plant mama who loves to read, hike and spend time in the park on sunny days.

Shannon is another bridesmaid and longtime friend of Natalie. Shannon and Natalie’s friendship began twelve years ago in high school. Mutual friends introduced them and they’ve remained close ever since. From sharing a high school graduation party, to late night hangouts at OSU, and now puppy play dates, they’ve shared many memories. Their newest connection is that they are both engaged to Bens at the same time. Shannon currently works remotely for a neuropsychology clinic in Palo Alto. In her free time she enjoys riding horses, making Ukrainian eggs and spending time with her animals. She can’t wait to stand by Natalie’s side on her special day.

Whitney has known Ben and Natalie for over three years now. She met them through roommates and created a friendship with Ben and Nat both individually and as a couple. She has watched their relationship grow since the beginning and she is excited to watch them grown together as a married couple!

Austin is an Electrical Designer at Systems West Engineers in Springfield. He rides motorcycles, makes stuff with his 3D printer, and helps produce a puppet show on the weekends. Austin is an old friend from Ben's high school days. They met in an English class sophomore year. They bonded over video games, music, and being hooligans during the lunch hours. After that they lived together for a while, when they weren't out on our bikes or skateboards. Their lives have changed since then, but they still stay in frequent contact through their Discord hosted game night.

C.J. Connolly is a mechanical engineer at Columbia Helicopters. He likes to collect vinyl records and retro video game cartridges, as well as noodle around either the piano, trombone or guitar. He actually met Ben through Natalie about 3 years ago at either a Christmas or New Years function. The first time he actually got to know Ben though, was when Natalie set them up on a "play date" (her words), and they hit it off over beers and discussions of personal values and video games.
