Our Wedding

From the Groom: 
Natalie and I met our freshman year, despite my efforts to get her to hang out with me she declined. We first hung out at the park where her and her brother Dylan showed up despite hanging out there was just one small problem (her boyfriend was with us) So most of the day I hung out with Dylan besides the one problem, Dylan and I had a fun time together. Then come a few years later and my still trying to get her to talk to me, let alone hang out with me, we started having classes together and becoming closer. The first time we truly hung out as friends just us was at a PHS game, where the 20$ my mom gave me for food and snacks I ended up buying her a shirt she wanted and giving her the rest to go get something to eat. From then on we started to message each other and the more we talked the more she was interested in hanging out and she got more confident my feelings for her were sincere. I asked her to a movie and wore a polo with khaki pants. I wanted to be the kindest, most respectful gentleman my mother raised me to be. I bought our tickets and snacks, held the door for her, and tried my best to do whatever I could for her hoping i would impress her. Then a few weeks later we were at a South and PHS game at south, we had our first kiss. My heart and soul filled with joy and happiness. If you couldve seen the look on her face it would make you melt like it did me to see her smile, like that it could light up the whole world. Knowing that smile and happiness come from me just made it that much more special. She had my heart from first eye contact after that night. I finally built up enough courage to ask her to be my girlfriend on 11/11/2015 and ever since our love for each other has just gotten stronger. People that know me know that I struggle with some health issues. If it wasnt for Natalie coming home and telling me about her day and her patients she was caring for, I would probably have never pursued a goal I had for my health and my future. Because of her I was able to have a operation that has changed my life and without her I wouldn't have been able to do it. Needless to say she has been to all my doctor appointments with me, including another operation I had done, she was right there beside me when I woke up from both of them. She has been my biggest supporter. She is always in my corner no matter what. Even on the bad days, whether it be sickness or not having a will to get up and do anything shes always there for my care or to lift me up and remind me that if i have a will to do something there is a way. She makes me a better person and the man I want to become. Our love is only growing stronger each and every day and can't wait to marry and spend the rest of my life with the most amazing, kindest, beautiful woman in the world and will love her until they put me in the ground.

From the Bride: 
Matthew and I met in 9th grade. We were friends but despite his efforts I declined to be his girlfriend several times. Then Matt and I had gym class together junior year and we started to become close friends. One day Matt asked me to go to the movies with him, as a friend. He got dressed up and wore a striped polo and khaki pants. He looked handsome. He was so kind and genuine. He impressed me and was started to grow on me, I thought maybe I might give him a chance. Matt kissed me for the first time at a high school football game. I knew I liked him but the kiss changed everything for me. At that moment he stole my heart. I got butterflies all throughout my body and the whole world stopped spinning, nothing else around us mattered. We kissed several times that evening. I knew that I loved him and that we would be on more dates and have many, many more kisses. He officially asked me if I would be his girlfriend on 11/11/2015 and we have been inseparable since them. Matt is my best friend. He has been my biggest supporter throughout all of my endeavors including choir (in high school), getting my first job at Panera Bread, getting my job as a PCT at Marietta Memorial Hospital, LPN school, and now working as an LPN and going to RN school; I couldn't do any of it without him. I tend to doubt myself frequently and Matt has never left my side. He is my backbone, always encouraging me that I can achieve what I set my mind to. I love him more as the days and years go by and I will love him forever. &#10084;
