It was spring 2023 when Jayden & Natalie met at a preview weekend for their residency program! Jayden may or may not confirm that it was love at first sight for him. Natalie was looking for her next step in ministry and God had even bigger plans than she thought. After months of being in the same circle of friends, that October Jayden shared his feelings. They went on their first date that November. And became a couple on December 15th. A little over a year later on December 28th, 2024 they were engaged! Throughout their story, it became clear to both of them separately that God has called them both to shepherd people to Jesus. If you don't know much of Jayden's story, he has always thought about changing his last name. Over and over in scripture we see God repeatedly give people a new name, when he changes their life, gives fresh purpose, and a new calling! Natalie was called to ministry in college through John 21. Where Jesus redeems Peter and says "Feed my sheep. Take care of my lambs". This call has been on their hearts long before they were in a relationship and now feel a deep conviction this will also be the call of their new family: to shepherd hearts and stories closer to Christ.
