Our adventure started on Friday April 5, 2013. Our best friends, Viri and Kevin,&nbsp;decided we both needed a best friend night. Separately, we all ended up at a local bar called The Usual. Kevin and I got there and found seats at the bar and ordered our drinks.&nbsp;Viri reached out and said hello and introduced her best friend&nbsp;Nicole. Nicole and I&nbsp;immediately started talking being sarcastic with one another. Unbeknownst to each other, we were flirting, but our best friends knew. &nbsp;It sounds cliché, but it just felt natural. She bought me a beer and gave me a hard time about drinking Bud Light. She went to buy another round and noticed I hadn't finished my beer yet. She asked me "do you always nurse drinks that people buy you" Oh that's when I knew I had a real sarcastic one in my presences.

 

We started talking about the upcoming “BuzzFest" concert and how she was going with her friends and she had a few extra tickets to sell. She told me if I was interested in the tickets to let Viri know and she would get word to her. I could tell she was a little guarded and playing it safe, so I made the first move and I whipped out my phone and told her “or you could just give me your number and I could call you.” She smirked,&nbsp;I knew she was impressed! We started texting with each other the next day and it quickly turned into a phone conversation. Being wrapped up in our conversation, I locked myself out of my car and my apartment. We laughed at the situation because it was hot outside and my phone was dying. She just happened to be in my neighborhood and came to my rescue with cold A/C and a phone charger in her truck. As we waited for Kevin to show-up with the spare key to my apartment, she asked me if I wanted to come down to Kemah for a Sunday Funday. &nbsp;This is why sunday’s are our favorite day of the week. 

 

We had a great time getting to know each at Bubba Gump’s Shrimp Shack. It was like we knew each other longer than we did. I remember the ride down to Kemah; the music was just right and the breeze felt great. After that weekend, we were smitten with each other. She asked me out for our first date on April 12th. While I was excited out our first date, in true Nicole fashion, she was nervous. I found out later that she had planned our great date with the help of her good friends Misty and Larisa. She was such a gentle-woman; she picked me up, opened doors, chivalry at its finest. &nbsp;We had dinner at BJ’s Brewery; she always teases me because I order a steak on our first date. As she says “who does that?!” She suggested we get our dessert to go. This is when I learned she always has a trick up her sleeve. She was so cute, trying so hard to impress me that she got lost. After finally getting good directions, we arrived at the Showboat Drive in movie theater. She brought out a bottle of Prosecco and a blanket. It was the most romantic date I have ever had. She made it so romantic and comfortable, I fell asleep! We still laugh about this, it is one of the best dates we both have had. &nbsp;

 

It's been 5 years of laughter, tears, fun times and great memories. We are each other’s #1 fan, team; each other’s rock. We’ve been on some great vacations but road trips are our favorite. At any given time, you will catch us singing and dancing with one another or speaking our love language of sarcasm to each other. Spending time with our families is important for the both of us. We make sure we carve out that time with them.

 

&nbsp;I can honestly say that this has been my favorite adventure and now we get to start a new one. The love we have for each other is raw honest. We laugh at the fact we met at a crusty bar, but The Usual forever changed our path and started our lifelong journey. We are each other’s lobsters. I can’t wait to see where this adventure takes us.

Please NO LIVE videos on any&nbsp;social media platforms! We have a photographer and videographer to capture the ceremony.&nbsp;We’re excited that you will be joining us on our special day. We would like you to be able to enjoy it by being fully present and in the moment with us during the ceremony.&nbsp; 





We are&nbsp;respectfully asking that everyone consider leaving all cameras, cell phones and iPad's in your bags or pockets. Please avoid standing in aisles.&nbsp;



Another formal announcement will be made before ceremony begins.&nbsp;&nbsp; 









As much as we would appreciate photos, please wait to take pictures after we say “I do”. 









During the reception feel free to post on social media. Our&nbsp;wedding hashtag will be&nbsp;#DiaDeLosPalos&nbsp; as well as a Snapchat filter.

If you have not RSVP’d by 2/5/19, we apologize but we cannot accommodate you at the ceremony or the reception.

Accommodations





Need a room; There are several within 2 miles of the venue. If you 
booked a room at one of the nearby hotels, we recommend you use UBER or 
LYFT for transportation. Please be responsible and utilize these options if you plan to consume alcohol with us.

We encourage everyone to arrive on time for the ceremony. If you 
arrive after the ceremony has started, please wait in the designated 
cocktail area.

family member or friends of the Brides numbers (who are not a part of 
the ceremony), please contact them. 

 







·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; What would you like as a gift? Anything you choose to gift 
us we will be thankful for it. Gift cards or monetary gestures are 
greatly appreciated but not required.

 







·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Can I bring my child? ABSOLUTELY, if you were given a plus 
one. We ask that you do not exceed the number of seats we have set aside
 for you.

 







·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; What to wear? It’s a May wedding in Texas! We ask the men 
to dress in smart casual and women to dress in festive attire. The 
Brides request that no one wears jeans, shorts, tennis shoes or white.

UNPLUGGED CEREMONY!! We have an amazing photographer and videographer to
 capture the ceremony. We would much rather you be present and in the 
moment with us. We would greatly appreciate it if you respect our wishes
 and do not live feed on all social media platforms. During the
