Guest Information

When should I RSVP by?

You're way ahead of the game! The RSVP deadline will be included in your invitation. We hope to see you there!

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm. Please plan to arrive around 4:30-4:45pm so you have time to find your seat and get comfortable.

What is the dress code?

Formal attire (not black tie) is requested. Coat racks will be available for outerwear.

Can I bring a date?

As much as we'd love to include everyone, our venue has limited space. Only guests who receive a plus one on their invitation can bring a date. We hope you understand!

Are children welcome?

We love your little ones but will not be having children at the wedding unless they are specifically invited on the invitation. This will be an adult event. We hope you can enjoy a night off!

Help! I have a food allergy/dietary restriction!

Not to worry! Our dinner will feature a vegetarian option. Please reach out to us if you have any allergy-related questions or concerns.

Transportation

Can I take the Metro to the venue?

Yes! Taking the Metro to the National Press Club is easy. The Press Club is 2 short blocks from the Metro Center 13th Street stop on the red line.

How do I Uber to the venue?

If you are Ubering to the Press Club, make sure to enter the street address (529 14th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20045). Ubers like to drop off on F Street if you just enter the National Press Club into the app. If you do get dropped off on F Street, walk around the corner, past Corner Bakery, so you can enter through the main entrance.

Is there parking?

There are several parking lots minutes from the National Press Club with hourly parking. We recommend using Spot Hero (https://www.spothero.com). It will show you all of the parking options in the area and you can pre-pay online.

The Venue

Is the venue indoors?

Yes, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all indoors on the top floor of the National Press Building.

Is the venue wheelchair/stroller accessible?

Yes! The venue has multiple elevators and is easy to access. We will have a coat storage area where strollers and wheelchairs can be parked just outside of the ceremony/reception space.
