You may fly into Shreveport, LA; Homer is approximately one hour East by car. You may also fly into Dallas/Ft. Worth (DFW or Love Field airports); Homer is approximately 4 hours East by car.

There are a few rentals available on and around Lake Claiborne. Otherwise, Minden is about 30 minutes Southwest of Homer, and has several rentals, bed and breakfasts, and hotels, most of which can be found under Travel for your convenience. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Holiday Inn, Minden under Dixon-Lannen wedding. Shreveport has many more options, about 1 hour West of Homer, as does Ruston, about 30-40 minutes Southeast of Homer.

Our celebration will take place in Granny and Grandpa Dixon's garden, overlooking beautiful Lake Claiborne. Heels are not recommended...bring your dancing shoes instead!

Transportation and lodging will not be provided. Please plan accordingly if you plan to drink and please do not drink and drive.
