Our Wedding

Natalie and Noah met through mutual friends at church in 2021. They would occasionally chat at church or respond to each other's posts on social media. After several brief conversations, Noah worked up the nerve to ask Natalie on a date in November 2021. Their first date was at Parlor Public House on a Saturday morning and they have been dating ever since. Their favorite dates include: going to concerts, trying new restaurants, playing pickleball, game nights with friends, walking outside, cooking together, and trying new coffee shops. Natalie and Noah both value time with their families and enjoy getting to be with the Vances in Mooresville or the Evanses in Goshen. Natalie first knew she wanted to marry Noah when they attended a friend's wedding in April 2022 but she kept it to herself until later in the summer when they started to have more conversations around timeline and dreams for their future. If you ask Noah, he might tell you that she was not as subtle as she may have thought. After about a year of dating, Natalie and Noah were quite certain they'd end up together and began thinking through next steps. Noah took advantage of his time with Jim over Christmastime to initiate the conversation about marriage. Neither Jim nor Noah had any idea what to say, (Jim even searched on YouTube "questions to ask future son-in-law") but alas, it was a "yes" from both parties and Jim and Noah went on to discuss their shared interests: Cardinals baseball and pickleball. Noah planned the perfect proposal as Natalie patiently waited. (Okay, "patiently" is a generous term to use for Natalie during this stretch of time). After returning home from youth group on Sunday, February 19, Natalie walked inside to a candle-lit, flower petal path to her back patio where Noah was waiting with music and champagne. He popped the question, Natalie gave a resounding "yes!" and they began calling friends and family to share the news. They just purchased a home on the east side of Downtown Indy and they are looking forward to all that's to come in this next season. Thanks for joining in the celebration!
