Weather will likely be warm until sundown then cools down after. Temperature is normally 80-100 degrees during the day but goes down to about low to high 70's after sundown.

Ceremony & Cocktail hour will be held outdoors, and reception is an indoor/outdoor space primarily being indoors.

After the ceremony, guests will enter the cocktail hour with drinks, appetizers, a trolley that gives you a zoo tour, a carousel, and family yard games with a reception to follow.

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

For the wedding party, there will be a dinner rehearsal the night before the big day. If any more events are made, we will make sure to update the website to keep everyone in the loop.

The following address will take you right to the Zoo entrance. 455 North Galvin Parkway Phoenix, AZ 85008. When you enter through the main gate you will find the ceremony to the right on the lawn by the lake. Assistance will be at the entrance if needed.

Parking is Free and located in front of the main entrance.

Absolutely! We would love for the family to get to celebrate our special day all together. There will be a kid's area and games for them to enjoy keeping occupied if needed. Parental supervision will still be needed.

Please notify us as soon as possible. We will most likely have requirements by the venue to follow and may or may not be able to accommodate this request but will surely try our absolute best!

We unfortunately are unable to get hotel blocks but will be making a list of recommendations to share with everyone. We recommend staying close to family if you are planning on staying for a couple of days. If you are just coming for the wedding, it might be helpful to stay closer to the venue. For larger groups, AirBNB might be worth checking out!

RSVP deadline is 7/31/23! We are trying to make this as easy as possible on everyone by having RSVPs done on here (Our Wedding Website). By doing this, it eliminates taking a trip to the post office, things getting lost in the mail, late RSVPs, more questions to be answered, and easier to track on our end. If you or someone you know who was invited that would prefer to mail in their RSVP, please let us know! We are more than happy to accommodate this!

Yes, all venue locations on the zoo property are handicap accessible! For those who might need assistance, wheelchairs will be available & an individual to help get you where needed.

Appetizers, dinner, dessert will be served as well as an open bar for beer and wine! Other mixed drinks will be available for purchase that are not included in the free open bar. For food, we are having upscale BBQ served. Menu is still being finalized but will be shared once decided.

The easiest place to locate our registry is on TheKnot.com where all our registries are combined into one place! We are registered at Target, & Amazon.

Transportation is not included but if you are in need of assistance with getting to or from the venue please let us know! We want to make sure everyone makes it to and from our wedding safely as a main priority. Hotels near the venue may offer a discount or possible transportation to the zoo. If we get information regarding this, we will update our website to include this. Options like Uber and Lyft are always available in the area.

Of course! We encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #BerningInLove so we look back at all the great pictures! :)

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.

Reception will end at 10:00pm per venues requirements.

We will have hand sanitizers throughout the venue. We ask that if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms to please stay home as we will have some family members and friends celebrating with us who are immune compromised. Masks are optional per the venue requirements. If you feel not well or are not comfortable coming due to the pandemic, we are working on making our wedding have a virtual option for those not able to attend in person. Info about this will be found under the "Virtual Experience" tab on the home page.

No smoking is allowed on the premises of the zoo. However, the parking lot belongs to City of Phoenix and is allowed in the parking lot only.
