The dress code is black tie optional. Men are requested to wear a suit or tuxedo. Women are encouraged to wear a long dress. The more colorful the better! The ceremony and reception are in grass, plan shoe choice accordingly.

The cocktail cruise will be a pre-nuptial cruise around the lobster infested waters of Frenchman Bay. Join us on the “Friendship V” for a nautical start to our wedding day. Beer, wine, and canned beverages will be provided. No BYOB allowed.

Yes! Please wear your wedding outfit to the ship. The ceremony and reception will begin directly after docking. Flip Flops will be provided for the cocktail cruise.

Although we adore your children, we want all wedding guests, including parents, a chance to let your hair down and celebrate. We have chosen to make our special day adults only and respectfully ask that no children attend the festivities.

Yes, there will be a welcome party Friday night at 7:30 at the Bar Harbor Club Pool House. This is an after dinner cocktail party. Small snacks will be provided. The pool is behind the tennis courts.
