Brett and Natalie have been intertwined since they both moved to Charleston, SC in 2018. People always say Charleston is a small town, where everyone knows everyone and Kaila Grecco is not an exception to that rule.

When Brett and Kaila met, it was truly a friendly upstairs neighbor showcasing the southern hospitality Charleston is known for and inviting her new downstairs neighbor for a beer. It didn’t take long for a loyal friendship to form, over a tod-sod or two and they have been great friends ever since.

As for Natalie, she was also met with the infectious personality of Kaila and was one of her very first friends in Charleston. Working in the food & beverage industry they kept in touch sparingly, but truly reconnecting while working together at 167 Raw.

Fast forward to 2021, on a beautiful Sunday afternoon where Kaila brought together Brett and Natalie for what was supposed to be a casual “Sunday Funday” quickly turned into them planning a “real” first date.

From that Sunday forward Brett and Natalie found themsleves talking all day and night, planning dinner dates at all of the finest restaurants Charleston had to offer. It didn’t take long for them to find their favorite spots, plan weekend adventures and travel to Brett’s hometown of Fernandina Beach, FL.

Brett always planned to move back to Fernandina Beach in May 2022 to take over the family business. But when that time quickly approached, he made the decision to extend his time in Charleston in order to give their relationship more time together.

Now, here is the kicker! When Brett finally did move back to Fernandina Beach, Natalie just so happened to receive a job offer from The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island for a position that was basically made for her. What was supposed to start a 6 month long-distance relationship, turned into Natalie also moving to Fernandina Beach.

The two of them have been living happily in Downtown Fernandina Beach since October 2022 and are so looking forward to celebrating their marriage with their family and friends!
