We met each other our first year of school at Rose-Hulman in 2018. Charlie had already been on campus for two weeks in football camp and it was move-in day for all the regular students. He was wandering through Blumberg hall, meeting his roommate and helping people move in when he heard someone playing foosball in the lobby.
Wandering down to the lobby, he saw Natalie finish kicking someone's butt, and thinking he was pretty good himself, he asked if he could play. Charlie ended up barely winning (though Natalie has won the majority of the foosball games since then) but the spark was there.
We began spending time together, watching movies, walking around campus, and getting to know each other. Charlie was busy with football, and Natalie was adjusting to living away from home and meeting all sorts of new people, but we still made time to spend with each other.
One day, Natalie was headed to dinner with her friends when she notice Charlie walking behind her. Talking loud enough to be overheard, she mentioned that she didn't want to be in any relationships for a few months so she could be sure that her feelings were real and not just excitement about starting college (We were beginning to fall for each other, but Natalie wanted to be sure we were starting something serious). Unfortunately for Natalie (or fortunately) we ended up moving quicker than she ever planned, and less than a month after moving onto campus we were officially dating! Below you can see some pictures of our journey together.....
