What transportation options are available for guests flying into Portland International Jetport?

Guests flying into Portland International Jetport can access car rentals if needed. Or - reach out to inquire about possibility of carpooling with other guests!

Are there any accommodations recommended for out-of-town guests?

Yes! We highly recommend the Hampton Inn Oxford, or the Oxford Casino Hotel; both are 4 star hotels exactly 7 minutes away from the venue. The wedding couple and several members of the wedding party will be staying at a lakeside VRBO 10 minutes away from the venue. Please contact Natalie or Nicholas if you would to arrange to visit them the day after the wedding to say hi, join for brunch, take a swim, or use the kayak!

What time should guests plan to arrive for the wedding?

Guests should plan to arrive by 2:15 PM for the ceremony starting promptly at 2:30 PM. And remember, fashionably late is so last season!

What is the dress code for the reception?

We encourage and invite all things sharp and chic and polished, but express your personal style and comfort. Don’t forget your dancing shoes!

Are there any gift registries for the bride and groom?

Yes, we have registered at The Knot. Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift, but if you wish to honor us with a gift, please visit our Registry page for more information.

Who will be officiating the ceremony?

The ceremony will be officiated by Claire Winston-Wade Wedding Officiant, Savoir Claire - expert in the ancient art of 'I do's' and 'You may now kiss the bride or groom'!

Are there any things I should know to be conscientious of other guests?

Yes! Please note that there is a severe fragrance allergy in our wedding party. Please do not wear any strong fragrances on the day of the ceremony. Deodorant is of course allowed.

COVID Policy?

We will have some immunocompromised guests attending. Please do not attend if you have COVID symptoms prior to or on the day of the event in line with current recommendations from the CDC. If you need to change your RSVP due to illness, please ensure to contact Natalie or Nicholas.

What culinary delights await us during the festivities?

Drinks will be served by Macs Grille after the ceremony. Bliss Caterers will be serving up hors d'oeuvres and a full, delicious buffet with all the fixings of a French contemporary meal. Ooh la la! And fear not, our menu will cater to all tastes, with several gluten-free and vegan options available. So whether you're a carnivore, herbivore, or just love a good meal, there's something delicious for everyone to enjoy!

What additional (fun!) amenities and activities will be available during the reception?

Guests can enjoy a group art-making area, make an offering to the ancestors who can't physically be with us on this special day, write or draw in a guest book, take polaroids, and play corn hole.

Childcare options?

We will have friendly staff attending the event who are more than happy to lend a hand and help watch over the little ones as needed.

What time will the reception end?

The reception, including dancing and a DJ inside the barn, will end at 7:30 PM (the fun memories will last way longer than your sore feet!)

What activities are available for guests to enjoy in the area?

In addition to the local attractions in Oxford, such as the Oxford Casino, boat rentals and swimming at Thompson Lake, and many scenic hiking trails, guests can also venture to nearby Portland, Maine, for a diverse array of experiences. Explore the historic Old Port district, known for its cobblestone streets, charming boutiques, and waterfront restaurants serving up fresh seafood. Art enthusiasts can wander through the Portland Museum of Art, or Bates Museum of Art in Lewiston, both home to an impressive collection of fine art from various periods.
