Many of their family and friends know that Natalie and Kris met online through a website called "Coffee Meets Bagel". Natalie and Kris went on their first date to drinks in New York City. While on their date, Natalie accidentally texted Kris, “It’s good :)” - meaning to send the text to her friend, Christina. Kris received the text while in the restroom and did not acknowledge it until they parted ways. Kris responded to Natalie later that night saying, “I don’t think this message was meant for me, but I’m glad you had a good time.” He promptly asked her to dinner for a second date, then a third, and the dates continued until they officially became a couple.

They had a lot in common right off the bat, which is fitting since Natalie worked at Major League Baseball! They both share a love for travel, The Office (the show), and greatly value their family and friends.

Kris introduced Nat to his favorite movie, the Rock, the Norwegian Day Parade on May 17, weekends in Montauk, and even became her personal golf instructor.

Natalie introduced Kris to running, skiing, and the Stanford-Cal “Big Game” Romine Family Tailgates (which many of you attend each year!)

Kris wowed Nat with his Norwegian curling pants, his ability to make the bed every morning (#hotelschoolperk), his obsession with eating chicken, his hotel and restaurant expertise, and his knowledge of every city with a Hard Rock Cafe.

Nat impressed Kris with her passion for fitness, her ability to make him laugh, her drive to complete her Masters at Columbia, and her connection to Mets tickets, especially when they made the World Series! (too bad they didn't win)

Kris and Nat dated for three years in NYC before Natalie accepted a job in CA and moved in with her family for two years. This time allowed Nat to focus on family as she became an aunt to 5 little ones: Ring Bearer Russell, Flower Girl Maddie, Nathan, Julian & Charlotte. Nat worked for a sports agency in Newport Beach, and enjoyed spending the night at her Aunt Colleen and Uncle Jon’s house, or her Granmor and Grandpa’s house when she played soccer games in Newport or Westminster. Kris focused on work, golf, and becoming the greatest 3rd wheel to all of his friends and their significant others.

The two years of long distance, FaceTime calls, and exhausting weekends coast to coast prompted the couple to talk about their future together, and ultimately decide they couldn’t live apart any longer.

Kris proposed to Natalie on November 16, 2017 on a well-organized (by Kris) weekend in Napa. Kris popped the question at Cade winery, and followed the amazing day with dinner at French Laundry that evening. He even brought Natalie a nice dress and shoes to wear for the occasion! They celebrated with family and friends at the Stanford Cal football game that weekend.

Nat moved back to NY in March of 2018 and they got their first apartment together. Since then, wedding planning and not having to burn vacation days flying coast to coast has been incredible! They can't wait to seal the deal and celebrate with their best friends and family members next March in San Diego.
