Here’s the story of our first date!

We had first found each other through social media. After snapping randomly for a month, he finally started a real conversation. After that one conversation, we texted nonstop.
He eventually asked me out on a date in town.
I was so excited and nervous at the same time.
I remember exactly what I wore , and what he wore too!
With it being in November, and me being the girl I am. Our first date OFCOURSE had to start off with a Christmas shop, Local Eddies in Henagar al.
I remember getting out of my car and being so nervous to be with him in person. He waited to try and kiss me when we got out of the shop but I was still too nervous. After 3 attempts I finally decided okay fine and gave in. Haha After the “ice breaker” , we went to eat at Limons. The very start of our love for not only large cheese dip bowls but for each other. We talked but mostly ate. It was so fun to be able to actually get to talk with each other instead of over text. It felt so real , as if we had known each other our whole lives. As it was November and cold , he winded up putting his flannel over me and ofcourse I was cheesing hard as you see in the pictures. After that , we equally decided McDonald’s ice cream would be the next stop. We have to have a sweet treat , always! Mind you , The whole time I really wasn’t expecting much out of this. Maybe a 2 month fling , or just another person added to my collection of people to talk to. Until my cars fuel light was on….
We went to gas at Mapco ( which is now a Circle K ).
He pulled into Pump 1. He got out and pumped my gas and of course you know I had to follow.
He decided that moment was the exact moment he was going to ask. Why Mapco? Why pump 1? Out of all places , but in that moment I couldn’t have cared where we were. Ofcourse I said yes , and he leaned in to kiss me. Our kiss was the kind you hear about in the movies. The fireworks in my mind , going off like the grand finale. I knew , from that moment. This was completely different than anything before.
I had no idea where we were going to go after that night , nor how long this would last but the overwhelming excitement to see it through was enough for me.

I winded up keeping track on my notes app of our dates and what all they intelled. What we did, what we ate, funny things to remember. The whole nine yards.
Therefore here was my first ever entry in that folder for our first date.
