Our Wedding

Natalie and Andrew’s story starts in 2018 when they were both juniors in high school. They met at the Bismarck YMCA. Natalie made first contact. She came up to Andrew while he was working there and said that she had lost her keys in a locker. Andrew stupidly replied that the YMCA was not responsible for lost or stolen items. Fast forward two weeks and Andrew was invited to go bowling by one of his friends along with his friend’s girlfriend. Andrew and his friend showed up and a couple of minutes later Natalie came walking in the door. They hung out twice, once bowling and once at Natalie’s house. After these encounters together they parted ways for a handful of years. During that time Andrew did ask for Natalie’s number… for his friend. Fast forward to 2021, Natalie, with the encouragement of her mom, snapchatted Andrew after not speaking for multiple years. They began to snapchat but nothing really developed because of Andrew’s inability to pick up on cues. Thankfully for Andrew he was forced to stay behind from a family vacation due to school. In a last-ditch effort Natalie invited Andrew to go bowling along with Jessica, Betsy, and their friends. After this bowling session Andrew caught on and began to show interest. Natalie would argue that Andrew was not the most social or talkative guy in the early months of their relationship but she stuck it out. To her credit she definitely did. Over the years Natalie and Andrew learned to love each other and through the years they have done a lot of fun things. Together, Natalie and Andrew have enjoyed pickleball, long walks, and cheering the Bison on.&nbsp; In October of 2023 there was a slight hiccup in this love story. Natalie decided to break up with Andrew out of the blue because of some shaky waves that they were experiencing. However, that breakup lasted for a total of five days. In those five days, they figured out how well they worked together and how much they needed each other. After the hiccup their love only flourished. From that moment on their love was renewed and stronger than ever. Through the years after that hiccup, Natalie and Andrew did everything from traveling together to just going to get groceries together. This had all come to a point in February of 2025 when Natalie and Andrew set out to Wimmers to look at engagement rings. This was a big step in the relationship but Andrew knew that Natalie was the one for him. Andrew bought a ring and kept quiet about it for five months. On a trip to Omaha, Andrew could not contain his secret any longer and was compelled to finally propose to Natalie on the first day that they were there. It was special and private but no large production. Andrew asked Natalie to marry him on the couch in Jessica’s condo. It was so exciting to slowly tell the ones that they cared about starting with their parents at the end of the day.&nbsp; Fast forward to present day, Natalie and Andrew’s love is as strong as ever, even while Natalie is moving around the state to finish up pharmacy school. Natalie is having fun planning the wedding that Andrew has offered to help with. Natalie and Andrew have decided to have their wedding in Alaska in July with their close family and friends. After a little vacation, they plan to return to Bismarck married and then have a reception for all to come and enjoy.
